General Terms & Conditions of Membership

1.
Hotel Istana or its affiliates and marketing partners may change the Royal Kris rewards rules, processes, regulations, travel or other awards, and special offers at any time, with or without notice. This means that changes may be initiated that affect, but are not limited to, partner affiliations, rules for earning Loyalty Points, redemption of Loyalty Points, rules for usage of awards, continued availability of awards, award inventory, award types, and the features and special offers.

Hotel Istana reserves the right to terminate the program with six (6) months written notice to all then active members. All Loyalty Points accumulated and unredeemed at the end of the notice period shall be deemed to be void and forfeited to Hotel Istana without remuneration or any further obligation or liability and no award claims shall be honored thereafter.
3.
An active member is considered as all members that have earned "Loyalty Points" as a result of staying in or dining at the Hotel Istana in the previous twelve (12) months.
4.
Fraud or abuse concerning the accumulation of Royal Kris rewards points will result in the membership being terminated and all points earned forfeited.
5.
Loyalty Points are awarded as One (1) Loyalty Point for each RM100nett of eligible revenue at Hotel Istana for all reservations made by the member.

6.
Earning of Loyalty Points and redemption of awards are subject to all applicable laws of the COUNTRY OF YOUR HOTEL. Should such awards be considered as income and therefore be taxable it is the sole responsibility of the member to declare such in all disclosures to relevant authorities.
7.
In the event the member does not remain active the account will be closed and all Loyalty Points forfeited.
8.
Only one membership per person shall be eligible for earning of Loyalty Points.
9.
The sale or barter of Loyalty Points is award certificates are prohibited.
10.
All interpretations of these rules shall be at the sole discretion of Hotel Istana.
11.
Hotel Istana reserves the right to correct any errors in award of loyalty points at any time.
12.
Redemption of awards can be made by fax, email or telephone to the Royal Kris Rewards Line during business hours. Awards will be processed within 7 working days for issue of certificates for hotel stays or usage, for merchandise awards allow 21 days for delivery, for gift certificates allow 21 days for delivery.
